Information: Lieutenant A. Leslie Hamilton Jacob, 18th Batt. London Irish Rifles, who was killed in action in France, September 25th, was the only surviving son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jacob, Hatch End, Middlesex, and grandson of the late Dr. Archibald H. Jacob, M.D., F.R.C.S.I. Lieutenant Jacob was born in Dublin, 17th June, 1896, and was educated at Bowden House, Seaford, and at Felstead, Essex.
