Information: Second Lieut. James Graves St. John Ellis, Royal Engineers, was the son of Mr. W. E. Ellis, L.L.B., 41 Waterloo Road. Lieutenant Ellis graduated B.A. and B.A.I. in Trinity College, Dublin, obtaining a special certificate in practical Engineering. He afterwards went as assistant Engineer on the Canadian Pacific Railway system in Nova Scotia, where he had been for four years. On the outbreak of war he immediately answered his country's call and went to the Dardanelles, where he received serious wounds in action, from the effects of which he died.
