Information: Mr. Arthur C. Crookshank, who has been missing since August 15th in the Dardanelles, has been recommended for the D.C.M. for gallantry in action at the Dardanelles. He is a son of Mr. Charles H. Crookshank, B.L., Dublin, and grandson of the late Mr. Robert Crookshank, Glenmanus House, Portrush. At the outbreak of the war Mr. Crookshank was serving his apprenticeship in the Dublin office of Messrs. Crookshank, Leech and Davies, Solicitors, but immediately volunteered and joined the “Pals” Battalion, with whom he went to the Dardanelles. His brother, Lieutenant Henry Crookshank, was wounded in Gallipoli on August 27th, and is at present at home recovering from his wounds.
