Information: Captain R. S. Rait Kerr, 1st Indian Field Squadron, Royal Engineers, was mentioned in Sir John French's despatches for gallant and distinguished service in the field. Capt. Rait Kerr is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Rait Kerr, Rathmoyle, Edenderry, two of whose sons have been killed in the present war, one of them having gained the D.S.O. Capt. Rait Kerr came home from India on war being declared. He was wounded at Neuve Chapelle on October 28th, 1914. From February to June, 1915, he was A.D.C. to Major General Lawson, C.B., who holds the Northern command.
