Information: Major Ernest Brabazon Booth M.D., Royal Army Medical Corps, who has been appointed a Companion of the Distinguished Service Order, is the younger son of the late Dr. Brabazon Shiels Booth, who was medical officer of the Newry General Hospital from 1874 to 1894. One of his sisters is the wife of Mr. W.H.B. Moorhead, J.P., Carnmeen, Newry, head of the firm of Henry Thomson and Co., Newry, a director of the Great Northern Railway Company (Ireland), and one of the commandants of the Newry companies of the Ulster Volunteer Force.
