Information: Capt. Sir John Keane Bart., R.F.A., Cappoquin, Co. Waterford, has just been awarded the D.S.O. for distinguished service in the field. He was for some months Captain of the 29th Battery, R.K.A., in Flanders, and since June, 1915, has been Commandant of the French Howitzer School of the 2nd Army. Sir John Keane was A.D.C. to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in 1896. He served in the South African War, and was mentioned in despatches.
