Information: Captain Charles Joseph O'Reilly M.B., R.A.M.C., has been awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty near Hulloch from 25th to 28th September, 1915, in attending the wounded under heavy shell-fire. Captain O'Reilly is in his 24th year, and is the fifth son of Mr. Joseph R. O'Reilly, D.L., Sans Souci, Booterstown. At the outbreak of war he was house surgeon at Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital, but volunteered for active service, and was appointed to the 21st Field Ambulance, receiving his Captaincy in August, 1915.
