Information: Captain Clifford Humphrey Lloyd, Royal Field Artillery, is the son of Brigadier-General F. C. Lloyd, Bryntirion, Bersham, Wrexham, who has returned home from the Dardanelles severely wounded. Captain Lloyd has been twice mentioned in despatches and awarded the Military Cross. He obtained his commission in the R.F.A. in 1911; he went out with the 4th Division to France in August, 1914, and in the autumn of that year was awarded the French decoration, “Croix de Chevalier, Legion d'Honneur.” He was wounded in November of that year, and subsequently went with the 29th Division to the Dardanelles. Captain Lloyd is a nephew of Mr. Clifford B. Iylovd, Lossett, Co. Cavan.
