Information: The Rev. Francis C. Roche C.F., 10th (Irish) Division, Chaplain attached to the 10th (Irish) Division, died in hospital in Alexandria on November 14th, 1915, of enteric fever contracted while on active service in Gallipoli. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. George M. Roche and Mrs. Roche, Cambridge House, Montpelier Hill, Dublin; was ordained for the curacy of Ballymena in 1908, and in 1910 was appointed curate of Mortlake, London. On the outbreak of war he offered his services and after some time at the Curragh was attached to the 10th (Irish) Division.
