Information: Second Lieutenant Eric Henry Scott Smith, Royal Engineers, who died of dysentery at Mudros Bay, Island of Lemnos, on 29th October last, aged 20, was the only son of the Hon. Mr. Justin and Mrs. H. Scott Smith, of Lahore, Punjab, India, and a grandson of the late Rev. Frank Smith, of Stratford-on-Avon, formerly of Londonderry, and a grand-nephew of Mr. H. G. Cooper, 9 Clare Street, Dublin. He was educated at Clifton College, from which he entered Woolwich.
