Information: Second Lieutenant Patrick Stan McMahon, 8th Royal Munster Fusiliers, was the son of Mr. John McMahon, Knocknagarm House, Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co. Clare. He enlisted in the Cadet Company, 7th Leinster Regiment, on the outbreak of the war, and from thence obtained his commission in the 8th Royal Munster Fusiliers. He died on December 29th in France, of wounds received in action on the night of December 24th.
