Information: Second Lieut. James Douglas Tomblin, Motor Machine Gun Service, was the elder son of Mr. and Mrs. James Tomblin, Killarney, Heath Drive, Hampstead, and a grandson of the late Mr. J. D. S. H. McQuillan, former managing editor of the Morning and Evening Mail, Dublin. In July, 1915, he was gazetted to the Motor Machine Gun Section, and in September, 1915, went to France, where he fell in action.
