Information: Second Lieutenant Logan Kyle, elder son of Mr. W. Kyle, B.A., Inspector of Schools, was born in Co. Armagh on 27th February, 1892. He was educated at St. Luke's School, Cork, Foyle College, Londonderry, and Trinity College, Dublin, and after a distinguished career he graduated both in Arts and Engineering in October, 1914, being awarded the large gold medal in History and Political Science. After graduation he applied for and received a commission in the Royal Engineers, and in May, 1915, was sent to Flanders, where, only four days after his arrival, he was killed by a sniper.
