Information: Second Lieutenant Arthur Mendelssohn Horsfall, 2nd Batt. Royal Munster Fusiliers, was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Horsfall, Denholme, Weybridge, Surrey. When war broke out he at once enlisted in the Artists' Rifles, and was sent to France the following October, obtaining his commission in the 2nd Munsters in January, 1915. He was killed at Rue du Bois on May 9th, 1915, and was, with other officers of his battalion, mentioned in Sir John French's despatches.
