Information: Second Lieut. Robert Maxwell Maccabe, 8th Batt. London Regiment, was the son of Mr. Thomas Maccabe, 45 Avoca Street, Belfast. He had been five years in the Queen's University O.T.C., and had got a medal from Count Gleichen for excellent work. He was mortally wounded at Givenchy on April 23rd, 1915, and died shortly afterwards in Bethune hospital.
