Information: Second Lieutenant Herbert Augustus Johnston, Royal Flying Corps, youngest son of Dr. H. M. Johnston, J.P., Stranorlar, was killed in action in France. Before joining the Air Service Lieut. Johnston had served for twelve months in Kitchener's Army. He had given up a very lucrative position on the outbreak of the war to join the colours. He was a very clever electrician, and had been sent all over the world in connection with the erection of wireless installations. He was educated at Trinity College. Dublin, and was a rifle shot of exceptional skill.
