Information: Rev. F.S. Power, Australian Expeditionary Force, has been mentioned in despatches for distinguished service. He was educated at St. Vincent's College, Castleknock, and was first appointed to the English Mission, but was subsequently appointed Dean of Drumcondra Training College, and from thence called to Australia, where he was when war broke out, and immediately volunteered to accompany the first Australian Expeditionary Force, and was with them in the landing at Suvla Bay, where he remained until the retreat. He is a brother of Mr. Frank Power, Waterford.
