Information: Captain J.H. Fletcher, R.A.M.C., eldest son of Mr. J. H. Fletcher, Killeshandra, was mentioned in Sir John French's despatches and awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous gallantry, and devotion to duty at Loos in October, 1915. He was educated at Mountjoy School and Trinity College, and graduated in medicine, June, 1914. He received his commission on Sept. 4th, 1914, and went to France in April. 1915. His younger brother, J. Seabourne Fletcher, is also on active service with the M.T.A.S.C.
