Information: 2nd Lieutenant Maurice Charles Day, 13th Rajputs, Indian Army, killed in action in East Africa, November 4th, 1914. He was the eldest son of the Very Rev. Maurice W. Day, Dean of Waterford. He was gazetted as 2nd Lieutenant, September, 1911. He was educated at Aravon School, Bray, Marlborough College, and Trinity College, Cambridge (B.A. Wrangler, 1913).
