Information: Lieutenant Geoffrey Russell Fenton, 2nd Battalion Connaught Rangers, killed in action. He was the youngest son of Mr. W. Russell Fenton and Mrs. Fenton, of Ardaghowen, Sligo. He was educated at Cheltenham College and Sandhurst and joined his regiment in 1909. He married the elder daughter of Lt. Col. E. H. Montresor, commanding the 2nd Batt. Royal Sussex Regiment, who was killed at the battle of the Aisne.
