Information: Captain Philip Godfrey Barrett, Royal Munster Fusiliers, was killed in action. He served with the Militia in the South African War, and was transferred to the Royal Munster Fusiliers, being gazetted Lieutenant in 1902 and obtained his Captaincy in 1908. Between November, 1907, and September, 1908, he acted as Adjutant in the Militia and the Special Reserve. He received the Queen's Medal with two clasps after the South African War.
