Information: Surgeon Captain Cecil A. E. Conyngham, Royal Army Medical Corps, killed in action in East Africa. He was the son of Mr. Henry Conyngham, of 40 Waterloo Road, Dublin, and a graduate of Trinity College, where he received the M.B. Degree. He was for some time in charge of the Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, and was stationed at Bangalore. On the outbreak of war he at once applied to be sent to the front, and left Bombay for East Africa on the 16th October. He was a keen athlete and a good Rugby player, and during his college career was noted as a swimmer.
