Information: The Earl Annesley, Royal Flying Corps, was lost in an aeroplane accident when crossing from the South of England to France on his return to the front. During the campaign he rendered valuable services both in scouting and conveying messages. He was the only son of the fifth Earl. He was born in February, 1884, and was married in September, 1909, to Evelyn Hester, eldest daughter of Mr. Alfred E. Miller Mundy, of Shipley Hall, Co. Derby.
