Information: Lieutenant Edwin Winwood Robinson, 5th Royal Irish Lancers, was gazetted in December, 1911, and was promoted first Lieutenant on 5th August, 1914. He was killed in action on October 26th. He was a good sportsman, a keen polo player and a hard rider to hounds, and was most popular amongst his brother officers and men.
