Information: Captain J. H. Brennan, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, killed in action at Zonnebeke. He belonged to the special reserve of the R.W.F., which he joined in 1902, and was very keen about his military service, obtaining special honours on the completion of his course at the Hythe School of Musketry. He was well known in Dublin, where he held a similar billet in the Irish Land Commission Court. He was educated at St. Columba's College, and matriculated at Trinity College, where he was a prominent member of the cricket club.
