Information: Lieutenant Beresford Herbert Wallis M.C., was educated at Aravon School, and passed out of Sandhurst in 1908. After joining the Royal Irish Regiment in India, for a time he was gazetted to the 107th Pioneers, and was on duty at the great Delhi Durbar. When war broke out he returned with his regiment to France, was wounded at Festubert, and later mentioned twice by Sir John French in despatches. In January last he was given the Military Cross for his services in France, and is now serving in Mesopotamia. He is the only son of the late Beresford Graham Wallis, Supt. Engineer, P.W.D., India.
