Information: Captain R.M.F. Patrick, 42nd Delhi Regiment, Indian Army, who has been mentioned in despatches and awarded the Military Cross, has been at the front since November, 1914, as mortar trench officer. Capt. Patrick served through the South African War, when he was twice mentioned in despatches, and received the King's and Queen's Medals with six clasps. He subsequently entered the Indian Army, and in 1914 came over to France in charge of reinforcements, and has been through many engagements, including Neuve Chapelle. He is one of three who survive out of his brigade, and was some time ago severely wounded. Capt. Patrick is the son of the Rev. Chancellor Patrick, M.A., Mocollup Rectory, Ballyduff, Co. Waterford.
