Information: Lieutenant Colonel G. A. Moore M.D., R.A.M.C., has been mentioned in despatches and awarded the C.M.G. He is son of the late William Moore, of Moore Lodge, Co, Antrim. Col. Moore was educated at Charterhouse and Trinity College, Dublin. He was in the Indian Frontier War of 1898, and obtained the Tirah Medal and two clasps; also in the South African War, for which he received the Queen's Medal and four clasps, and the King's Medal and two clasps, Lieut. Col. Moore took a prominent part in the formation of the ambulance train service in this war, and lately was appointed to the charge of a general hospital.
