Information: Lieutenant Colonel E.W. Grimshaw, who is reported to have been killed in action on the Tigris, was the eldest son of the late Dr. T. W. Grimshaw, who was Registrar-General for Ireland, a member of a well known Co. Antrim family. Col. Grimshaw first joined the Dublin Fusiliers, afterwards transferring to the Indian Army.
