Information: Lieutenant T. J. Carson Murdoch, 24th Service Batt., Manchester Regiment, the only son of Mr. Thomas Murdoch, Beechhurst, Mosside, Dunmurry, was killed in action in Flanders on February 6th, 1916. He was educated at the Queen's University, Belfast, and at the outbreak of the war was studying marine engineering in the firm of Messrs. Workman, Clark and Co., Ltd. On the outbreak of the war he at once offered his services and obtained his commission in December, 1914.
