Information: Second Lieutenant J. Seymour Pressley, 1/5 King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry, was killed in action in Flanders. He was the youngest son of Mr. D. L. Pressley, Holgate House, York. Lieutenant Pressley was born in Londonderry, and was educated in Aberdeen, at King Edward VI. School, Norwich, and Monk Bridge School, York. He was in Canada when war broke out, but returned to join the Army, and had seen a good deal of service at the front before be was killed on November 15th. 1915.
