Information: Major Victor C. M. Reeves, Queen's Own Dorset Yeomanry, was killed in action in Egypt on February 26th, 1916. He was educated at Cheltenham and Magdalene College, Cambridge; joined the Yeomanry in 1906, and became Captain in 1913. When war broke out he went to Egypt with his regiment in charge of the machine guns of the Brigade, and in July, 1915, received his majority. He was then sent to Gallipoli, where he was wounded and sent back to Egypt, where he fell in action. He was the youngest son of Mrs. Reeves, Castle Kevin, Mallow.
