Information: Lieutenant Guy R. Healy, 4th Royal Munster Fusiliers, was killed at Lateema Hill, East Africa, on March 11th, 1916. He was a son of the Ven. John Healy, B.D., Archdeacon of Meath. He was educated at Campbell College, Belfast, and Lycee Carnot, Paris. In 1900 he was gazetted Lieutenant in the Limerick Garrison Artillery (Militia), and afterwards joined the North of Ireland Yeomanry, with which he served during the Boer War. He was then appointed Ranger in the Transvaal Game Reserves, and resigned his commission. On the outbreak of the present war he volunteered for service and was gazetted to the 7th Cavalry Reserve. At the request of the War Office he was seconded to the King's East African Reserves, and subsequently exchanged into the Royal Munster Fusiliers, still continuing to serve in East Africa.
