Information: Captain Gilbert Nagle, 7th Batt. Royal Sussex Regiment, has been awarded the Military Cross for conspicuous courage in organising a skilful defence and repelling two attacks though wounded at the time. Captain Nagle received his promotion from Second Lieutenant on March 20th last. He is the only son of Mr. Garrett Nagle, R.M., Fortwilliam. Belfast, and was educated at the Oratory School, Birmingham; St. George's College, Weybridge; and Queen's University, Belfast; and prior to the war was an Engineering Student at Bedford.
