Information: Lieutenant Charles Edward Newell, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, third son of the late Mr. A. C. Newell, R.M., Ballinasloe, and Mrs. Newell, 2 Crosthwaite Terrace, Kingstown, has been killed in action in his 19th year. He obtained his Commission in September, 1914, and went to the front with the 16th Division in January, 1916, shortly afterwards obtaining his promotion. He was a very promising officer, and was spoken of in the highest terms by his Commanding Officer.
