Information: Lieutenant Alan Livingstone Ramsay, Royal Irish Regiment, who was killed in action in Dublin on April 24th, 1916, was a son of Mr. Daniel L. Ramsay, The Nurseries, Ballsbridge, and was in his 25th year. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, and was gazetted to the Royal Irish Regiment from the O.T.C. of Trinity College in August, 1914. He had seen service in Flanders, and was wounded at Ypres in May, 1915.
