Information: Second Lieutenant Cecil Richard Booth, 1st Gordon Highlanders, who died on March 21st of wounds received in action in France on March 2nd, was the fourth son of Mr. and Mrs. John Booth, 14 Grosvenor Rd., Rathmines, Dublin. He was on the staff of the Royal Bank of Ireland, Dublin, and at the beginning of the war enlisted in the Black Watch, Territorials. He afterwards received his commission in the 1st Gordon Highlanders. He had been ten months at the front when he received the wounds which proved fatal.
