Information: Private James Campbell, 11th Signal Company, Royal Engineers, has been mentioned in despatches for gallantry in action. He is a son of Mr. John Campbell, Minaduff, Gortin, Co. Tyrone. Previous to the war he was foreman in Messrs. Swan, Hunter and Wigam Richardson's Shipbuilding Yard, Wallsend-on-Tyne, but at once joined the colours on the outbreak of hostilities.
