Information: Trooper R. J. Dewar, Royal Scots Greys, was awarded the D.C.M. for gallant and distinguished conduct in France. He is a son of Mr. P. M. Dewar, The Original Hotel, Roslin, and a grandson of Mr. Dewar, Kilcoobin Cottage, Bushmills, Co Antrim. On the outbreak of the war he joined the Royal Scots Greys, and went to France in October, 1915.
