Information: Sec Lieut. Frederick Gibson Heuston, 6th Royal Irish Fusiliers, was in the Medical School, Trinity College, and joined the Army at the commencement of the war. He went to the Dardanelles and was reported wounded and missing on August 16th, but later unofficially known to have been killed in action on that date. He was mentioned in despatches and was awarded the Military Cross. He was a son of the late Surgeon Francis T. Heuston, 15 St. Stephen's Green, and was in his 23rd year. His twin brother was also killed in action.
