Information: Lieutenant T.H. Bor, R.N.R., was drowned at sea whilst on active service, about March 11th, 1916. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Bor, Bank of Ireland, Maryborough, and was educated at Kilkenny College. He entered the Mercantile Marine when 14 years of age and secured his captain's certificate at 22. On the outbreak of the war he offered his services and obtained a Commission in the Royal Naval Reserve.
