Information: Lieutenant Ernest Dickinson Price, 3rd Battalion Royal Irish Regiment, was killed in action on 19th March, 1916, in his 22nd year. He was the second son of Major Ivon H. Price, County Inspector, Royal Irish Constabulary, and was educated at Mourne Grange School, then at St. Columba's College, and Trinity College, Dublin. He was a member of the Dublin University Officers' Training Corps, and joined the Special Reserve on the outbreak of the war. He was attached to the Royal Irish Rifles for the past six months at the Front. Two of his brothers are also in the Army, a third in the Dublin University O.T.C., and a fourth a Royal Naval Cadet at Osborne.
