Information: Captain Cecil Frederick Kelso Ewart, Royal Irish Rifles, was killed in action on 1st July, aged 28. He was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Ewart, Derryvolgie, Lisburn, and was educated at Winchester. On the outbreak of war, with his two brothers, he joined the New Army. He was given a commission in the Royal Irish Rifles, and was promoted Captain early in the present year.
