Information: Captain E.J. Nixon, R.A., was educated at Cheltenham College and the R.M.A., Woolwich. He went to Mesopotamia in the 30th Native Mountain Battery of Artillery at the commencement of the war, and served through the various engagements in the advance up the Tigris, and then became A.D.C. to Sir John Nixon. He was mentioned three times in despatches and awarded the Military Cross. He is the second son of Major-General Nixon, late R.A., of Clone, Ballyraggett, Co. Kilkenny,
