Information: Captain I.W. Corkey, M.B., R.A.M.C., has been awarded the Military Cross for distinguished service in the field. Capt. Corkey is the only son of the late Mr. I. Corkey, Warrenpoint, Co. Down, and of Mrs. Corkey, Ballsbridge, Dublin. On taking his degrees at Dublin University in June, 1915, he immediately obtained his commission, and has since seen considerable service with the 15th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, and also when on leave in Dublin during Easter week was on duty for several days in the recent rebellion.
