Information: Mr. Colin Biggs, 16th Canadian Scottish Regiment, who was killed in action about June 13th, was the third son of Lieutenant Thomas J. Biggs, R.E., and Mrs. Biggs, Dungarvan, and grandson of the Rev. John Bain, M.A., late Rector of Dungarvan, and of the Rev. Thomas Biggs, L.L.D., late of Templemartin, Co. Cork. He went to Canada in 1912, but on the outbreak of the war joined the Canadian Scottish and had spent over ten months in the trenches when he fell in action in his 20th year.
