Information: Lieutenant John Malby Hanly, R.N., who was killed in the naval action in the North Sea on May 31st, 1916, was the younger son of Lieutenant-Colonel and Mrs. Edward Hanly, of 57 Eaton place, London, S.W., and Avonmore House, Co. Wicklow, and was in his 28th year. Lieut. Hanly was on board H.M.S. Queen Mary, and was a most promising young officer.
