Information: Second Lieut. Francis Theodore George Corscadden, Royal Irish Rifles, who has died of wounds, was the youngest son of Mr. T. Corscadden, Hollymount, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim. He was educated at Portora Royal School, Enniskillen, and Trinity College, Dublin, and before the war was on the staff of the Ocean Accident and Guarantee Corporation (Limited), Belfast. He joined the Royal Irish Rifles as a private at the beginning of the war and was promoted to a commission in January, 1915. He was sent to France in September, 1915, and was home on his first leave just one month before his death.
