Information: Captain William Tillie Dickson, 6th Inniskilling Fusiliers, was severely wounded while leading his company in the attack on the German trenches on July 1st, and succumbed to his wounds, on the 9th. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Dickson, Miltown House, Dungannon. He was educated at Uppingham and was married a few years ago to a daughter of Mr. Edward Coey, D.L., of Merville, Whitehouse. On the outbreak of the war he obtained his commission in the 6th Inniskilling Fusiliers, with whom he served at Gallipoli. He was subsequently invalided home and was attached to the 1st Battalion, with which he went to France.
