Information: Second Lieutenant Cecil Henry. Kinsman, 16th Batt. King's Liverpool Regiment, was killed in action in the battle of St. Eloi on March 28th, 1916. He was a son of Mr. Henry Kinsman, Ashgrove Villas, Glenburn Park, Belfast. Lieut. Kinsman was on the surveying staff of the Congested Districts Board, but when the call of his country came he enlisted in the 5th Batt. Connaught Rangers, and subsequently, on receiving a commission, was transferred to the 16th Batt. Liverpool Regiment. He went to the front in the summer of 1915, where he served with the 10th Liverpool Scottish and was transferred to the 1st Cheshire Field Co. Royal Engineers a few days before he fell in action.
